Started in 2005 we have now firmly established ourselves as one of the premier teak and rattan garden furniture suppliers in the UK wholesaling to stores and Garden Centres throughout the UK.
We have now started to sell direct to the public through this TEAK WAREHOUSE and RATTAN WAREHOUSE websites and using our buying power as importers have passed on the massive discounts to our customers
Based just outside Brentwood and now a new Warehouse in Brentwood Essex we bring in containers directly from China and central java Indonesia, we have no showroom or plush offices,we are direct importers, there is NO MIDDLEMAN!
All of our Rattan is sourced directly from 2 suppliers in Ningbo China where we have had an excellent relationship with them for the last 7 years,so all items are true quality...all of our rattan hand woven and all frames are quality aluminium. We import a far higher standard than you usually see on websites and in garden centres, the reason for our low prices? direct from the docks to our warehouse...next stop to your garden!..very simple..very effective!
All of the teak logs bought to make our furniture is supplied by the Perhum Perhutani Plantation in Central Java Indonesia.
from the Indonesian Departments Perum Perhutani's located in central Java. The logs are sourced bought for and then our suppliers take them to undergo strict procedures for furniture production including drying and constructing to component parts. They use machine construction where possible
Our rattan furniture is built from the finest engineered standards available. All frames are aluminium and the sheets of High density PE weave are hand woven onto the frame . Again, like our teak, we have a firm established relationship with our far-eastern supplier, our first container from them we imported in 2005. 90 pecent of our rattan is assembled and ready to put in situ, we don't believe in self assembly for chairs, sofas, etc. The rattan will literally last you a lifetime.
PE rattan which is what our sets are made of withstands the outdoor elements outdoors, and it can handle humid or damp conditions, unlike natural rattan, which breaks down or becomes mildewed in wet environments. PE rattan is just one type of synthetic rattan; other types include PU (polyurethane) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PE rattan is recyclable, unlike these other synthetics, and it lasts longer than less expensive PVC rattan. PE rattan is designed to look like natural rattan
